Aveline O'Neill - Dietitian - CORU Registered

BSc Dietitian (first class hons)

Aveline is a CORU registered dietitian with a special interest in disease prevention through nutrition education, exercise and mental wellbeing. Aveline graduated Ulster University, Coleraine with a first class honours degree and was awarded runners up student of the year. She is currently working in University Hospital Waterford as an inpatient dietitian covering stroke and elderly care wards and renal outpatient clinics.

Aveline has a personal passion for all things movement being 2 time marathon runner. While completing her degree, she completed a certificate in Personal Training and Fitness Instructing and greatly enjoyed using this qualification working in gyms, helping to support people on their pursuit of better health. She also completed 500hrs of yoga teacher training in Bali and India. She regularly teaches yoga, holding a space for flexibility, strength but also inner reflection and guided meditation. 

Aveline also currently works in the area of performance nutrition, working with Kildare Senior Ladies Camogie team this year. 

Aveline can support you whatever your indication may be including general health and heathly eating, weight management, heart health, diabetes, osteoporosis, coeliac disease, dysphagia and more.

Dieitian Fees and Packages

Initial Consultation (~60mins) €80 

During your initial consultation, you should expect a complete assessment. You will be asked about medical and family history, your environment, any medications or supplements you take, your physical activity levels, previous blood results and your current diet.

I will check your weight, height and body composition.

We will work together to agree on realistic, sustainable goals for dietary and lifestyle change, if relevant.

Following this assessment, you will receive a copy of the goals discussed within a sample dietary plan with can help guide you move towards these goals.

Review assessment (~30 mins) €40 

During a review assessment, we will discuss the changes you have made as well as rechecking your metrics. We will discuss any boundaries you encountered to change and try find solutions to these. We may set new goals for you to work towards.

The ultimate goal of our reviews is to progress you to a place where you independent and autonomous with your plan, having all the nutritional education and strategies required to support continued growth towards or maintenance of your goals.

Weight loss package: €240

This includes an initial consultation and 5 follow up reviews, ideally at 1-2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months and finally ~6 months to ensure maintenance (or as required).
